Medication as Part of a Comprehensive Plan

While medication can be highly effective, it’s most beneficial whencombined with other interventions:
• Therapy: Helps individuals develop behavioral strategies andemotional regulation skills.
• Accommodations and Modifications: Provides external supportto bridge executive function gaps.
Medication helps address brain-based symptoms, but it doesn’t “teach”life skills. Therapy and environmental supports are essential to helpchildren and adults build lasting strategies for success.
